I am a political scientist, Adjunct Professor at Valencia College, teaching State and Local Government, and U.S. Government. I have more than twenty years of experience in higher education teaching, specialized in democracy and governance issues in Latin America, with a career as researcher, commentator, writer, and blogger. I have developed an academic path in the field of study of institutional behavior in democratic societies in Latin America, specifically Venezuela, and more recently Cuba.
